Traditional Art / Paintings / Still Life

A still life of a small collection of Japanese objects I have. Done in oils with script scratched on the surface into the paint. What it says basically is 'I love Japanese stuff. One day I want to live there. No, I don't plan on marrying some Japanese guy. I can do what I want!' So, when I told my family I was going to Japan for a semester, they all said the same thing: "Oh, so you're going to meet some short Asian guy and have short kids." No, I'm going there to study, NOT to hook up with guys. And even so, it's not like there aren't any non-Asian people over there. I tell you, my family is SO narrow-minded!

Wow...you share my dream. Nice work. I can see...'watashi ga nihon no' and then some random kanji I don't know yet. I really like the way these are put together. I don't know why.
